WOW! Carla is $6 Million Woman... [May 23, 2007]
Great pay, great hours, great pensions and free health benefits for life are not enough for the gov't elite. They also only make and enforce laws for the masses, not themselves... [May 23, 2007]
The Ledger agrees, patronage pilfering has to stop. But they need to go one step further, which they won't. When election time comes they need to support the opponents of these two "masters of the stall," whomever those opponents might be... [May 22, 2007]
State's idiocy on display once again... [May 22, 2007]
How do these people get appointed to judgeships when their judgment is so blatantly poor that any half discerning individual would recognize them as a threat and not a judge. I guess we really have to question the judgment of the appointers... [May 21, 2007]
Raise the most regressive of taxes, the sales tax, to fund a revenue shortfall but then dedicate the revenue to property tax relief. Where will the revenue shortfall come from this year? Why tax one area to give the money back in another? [May 21, 2007]

The hiding and the lack of respect for the people of NJ resume where they left off with the Governor...; While the charade that passes for debate about public concerns dances on with the fool voter picking up the tab again... [May 14, 2007]
Just remarkable. Kenny may as well say, "We can't change the eminent domain laws to protect the people - that would too greatly impede our shakedowns, outright theft and opportunities to enrich ourselves..." [May 11, 2007]
In an absolutely shocking development the Corzine appointed, two member "ethics" investigative panel into the Katz/Corzine coziness found no evidence of wrongdoing. Two more members of the annointed class have identified themselves as nothing more than swimmers in the cesspool of political appointed elites interested only in protecting the Trenton gravy train...; It is now established, beyond a shadow of a doubt, ethics do not exist in this State. Listen to this from Ken Zimmerman, Corzine's chief liar ...errrr lawyer, "The advisory panel has given him a clean bill of health on this issue. When you have two individuals of such unimpeachable credibility - as former Justice O'Hern and former At torney General Farmer - having undertaken an intensive inquiry, that has to and should stand for itself. One can't credibly say there are outstanding questions..."; No? Since when do ANY political appointees have 'unimpeachable integrity' - especially politically appointed lawyers? What about the $2 plus million that changed hands? What about the sweetheart deal the unions received from the Governor who was supposed to be watching out for the tax-payers of this state? [May 9, 2007]
Well, it only took one day. The abuse of your liberty has started in earnest again...; The governor picks up right where he left off, perhaps even worse. According to his girlfriend (not Carla Katz - and whatever happened to that story?) he may be even 'more liberal' than before the accident...; Unfortunately, the Ledger still doesn't see this as a bad thing. To them, the 25 day break from Trenton abuse was a bad thing... [May 8, 2007]

Having stuck its nose where it doesn't belong, the "affordable housing" charade continues. Thirty plus years of sprawl causing foolish failures teaches nothing to those who know better and have bigger hearts than all the rest of us... [May 22, 2007]
Everyone knows the apple does not fall far from the tree... [May 21, 2007]

Patrick "I Bleed New Jersey" Diegnan again shows why he is one of our greatest legislators. His ability to see the big picture and focus his efforts on important things is matched by only a few others in Trenton...; Sen. Rice and Assemblyman Green are two of those others. A bill that allowed more pigs at the trough passed in record time, rescinding the unnecessary patronage positions they cannot find the time for...; This is how Trenton works, stall and wait for the lazy tax-payer to forget... [May 18, 2007]

Of course, if you live in south Jersey where half the Pine Barrens (18,000 acres) are on fire, you might think that is newsworthy... [May 16, 2007]
Why not make the penalty a billion dollars and off with their heads? If elected officials are going to be deterred by the size of the penalty for wrongdoing the wrong officials are being elected. Besides, who is going to find them guilty, the ethics panel? They throw their disdain for the people right in our faces now - does pay-to-play mean anything to anyone? What good is another unenforced law? If we were serious about keeping the opportunists, the ethically challenged and the thieves out of gov't we should make it a requirement that if elected to any public office you must first survive three weeks on the streets of Camden - ALONE - before taking office. That would at least get rid of the cowards... [May 15, 2007]
Higher taxes? The groundwork is being laid... [May 14, 2007]
Of all the filth associated with gov't, the most filthy have to be the members of the bar...; This is not the behavior of a "concerned father," this is the behavior of a self-important, self-defined aristocratic fool who has no business anywhere near making decisions that effect people's lives. If a man shows such poor judgment in his own affairs how can his judgment be trusted in any affair? Another example... [May 12, 2007]

Christie has 16 lawyers rooting out corruption in NJ and has arrested more than 100 corrupt politicians over the last 5 years...; The State Attorney General's office has over 1000 employees and over the last 5 years has been unable to find any corruption. We think they must not be looking very hard...; And you don't have to take our word for it, the abuse of power, fraud, corruption and waste are so apparent even the newspaper can find them..., why can't the Attorneys General? Maybe they are too busy to read the paper... [May 8, 2007]
