However, if you haven't read the Phyllis Schlafly column I urge you to do so. And If Schlafly doesn't convince you to home school or to at least send your kids to private school this "editorial" by a NJ High School Principal certainly should. It screams the dysfunction of public education in NJ. These socialists are so thick headed and so incompetent they aren't even aware they are socialists or, worse yet, they are aware and are so dense they think socialism is a good thing, something that could make the world wonderful if only they were in charge of it. How can anything be fixed when thinking like this is so prevalent in the schools. He and his ilk actually think they are underpaid. They actually think they are "entitled." And perhaps, most astonishingly, they actually think they are doing a good job.

Results? Who cares? Results are not our fault. Fault is not our responsibility. Our responsibility is retirement. Pay up and shut up. We are the experts don'tcha know.

Sickening.

And just in case Principal Quinn didn't make you sick enough here are a few facts:

In 1962 nine unelected, wise in their own eyes, men in black robes banned this simple, non-denominational prayer from our schools:

"Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on thee, and we beg thy blessings upon us, our parents, our teachers, and our country."

1. SAT scores down 15% despite dumbing down the test and easing the scoring.
2. Teen suicide up 450%
3. Child abuse up 2300% - This one is especially condemning. When there is no right or wrong, what do you expect?
4. Illegal drugs up 6000%
5. Criminal teen arrests up 150%
6. Divorce up 350%
7. Out of wedlock births up over 500%
